I have finished most of the vehicles. They took some time to model since they have to be functional on the inside and outside. Which requires more details. I will be moving onto sets now. Phil is currently modeling the entire city for wide shots. Should be very impressive when he is done.

Things are going great! 99.5% of all the props are modeled! Big achievment! All but 3 characters are modeled. Even bigger achievment! I am currently modeling vehicles while Phil is beginning to model the city and get the feel of the envirnment down.

So we have about 5 more character models done. Problem is, most are joke related. If we show the models, we give away the jokes in the show. So you are going to have to trust us...the models are getting done and they are looking grrrrrreat!

You might be wondering why there hasn't been a post for a week or so. Well I have been rather busy outside of the SN world. Work, helping friend's move, etc took up much of that week. But even through out all that, I have still been modeling.

Last week or so has been real hectic, and SN didn't get the full attention it deserved. That being said, I was able to get one of the supporting cast members modeled in 3D.

Spring has sprung and this cold I've been fighting is *finally starting to subside. So it's back into the studio to record more of the audio tracks. The animators have been going great guns on characters so it's time to get the audio in the can for these mo'fo's. Expect to hear a more refined Finn in a couple of days.

NAME: Stoner Dave
OCCUPATION: Bike Messenger
CHARACTER TRAITS:
Stoner Dave, as he is known, is just that...a complete and total stoner. He is also the roommate of the Scottish Ninjas. Even though he has a job, he seems to rarely be at it. Most of his day is spent watching TV high, while eating cheetos.

Phil is almost done modeling Finn. I just finished modeling the 3D Lachlan model, and Rob is busy recording more audio. Things are progressing well. I'll post pictures of the Lachlan model soon.

NAME: Lachlan
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Hands and Feet
CHARACTER TRAITS:
Lachlan has the spirit of the monkey. He is agile, fast, and cunning. He is also the trickster of the group. He is the master of breaking tension with humor. But only a fellow Scotsman would most likely get the joke since Lachlan's acsent is so thick. Lachlan may be the smallest of the group, but he is the most fearless. No danger is too big. If Lachlan is not on your side, you better keep a close eye on him. He'll dance circles around you before you even have a chance to strike. Lachlan never hesitates and is always three moves ahead of you. He is also a real ladies man. The women love him almost as much as he loves drinking Iron-Bru and Vodka (better known as a "Muscle-Man"). Some say it is the confidence and large ego that he exudes that attracts the women. But packing an ego that large also gets him in trouble.

Aidan's Weapon of Choice

Here is the 3D model and final design of Aidan's sword. It is a Katana blade with Celtic influences such as the celtic knotwork guard and Scottish Thistle Pommel. This sword will chop off many a limb I can tell you that!

I am pleased to announce that we have a new member of the Sly team. Neil, a master rigger and blendshaper. He will be inserting the skeletal rigs allowing the models to move, and creating the blendshapes, allowing the characters to have facial expressions. With him on the team, there is no stopping us now! BWA HA HA HA!

NAME: Finn
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Nun Chucks and Throwing Stars
CHARACTER TRAITS:
Finn has the spirit of the badger. He is fierce and hot tempered. Finn has a short fuse and explodes easily. That quality comes in handy during battle, but outside of that, it is more of an annoyance. Finn enjoys a nice well-balanced three-course meal of Whiskey, Whiskey and Whiskey. He enjoys the sweet sound of bagpipes on a misty morning. Finn is very vocal about his opinions and isn't worried about being rude. He can be a best friend, or a great foe. Finn can't stand the inhumanity of man and Evil Ninjas that bleed on his kilt. Once scorned, he never forgives or forgets. Finn lives hard, drinks hard, and parties hard.

CHARACTER TRAITS:
Once a famous movie star, he is now an old hermit obsessed with guns. He has named all his guns and has projected personalities on them. Calling himself “The Executioner”, he literally views all his enemies as filthy apes, and will hunt every last one down. But don’t let his madness fool you. He is a very smart warrior and will use all sorts of tricks to avoid the law, such as using his vast fortune or faking mental dimentia.

CHARACTER TRAITS:
Aidan has the spirit of the bear. He is big and fierce, but also gentle and fuzzy. When in the heat of battle, he will tear through anything to accomplish his goal…total ass kicking. As leader of the group, Aidan works hard to keep unity among the trio of brothers. Aidan believes strongly in honor, family, any beer except for McEwans Scotch Ale…oh, and whoopin' evil. Aidan also believes in pleasing his adopted father, the Drunken Master. His other two brothers think he is a fool, since their adopted father is so critical, grumpy, hard to please, and over all abusive. But Aidan can’t stop trying to please the Drunken Master. He is his Master, and he must always respect him. It is the way of the ninja.
