Pick up the latest issue of Animation Magazine to see our Scottish Ninjas™ ad within the publication.  On newsstands now!

ASIFA recently sponsored a screening of the Scottish Ninjas™ pilot episode and it went great! The creators spoke to the crowd, screened the pilot, and after many hours of steady applause and kudos, the creators had a Q&A session with the crowd.

We recently submitted Scottish Ninjas™ in Animation Magazine’s 2010 “Pitch Party Contest”.   What is the “Pitch Party Contest” you ask?  You can read all about it, HERE.  But to make a long story short, the top 3 winners get an advertisement of their cartoon printed in the August edition of Animation Magazine, and the top winner gets to pitch their cartoon directly to an executive of their choice.  Voting has now started and we ask that you please vote for the Scottish Ninjas™.   Click HERE to visit  the voting page.  All entries are in alphabetical order, so scroll down until you see our kilted heroes. The road is a bitch, my friends. While on that lonely road, what does Klip Calhoun (Kyle Gass from Tenacious D), Darryl Lee Donald (Lee from Tenacious D), John “Shreddy” Shredman (Anti-Christ of the 6 strings), Boy Johnny (John Striker of Filter), and Dallas St. Bernard (Drummer extraordinaire) do to pass the time?   They watch the Scottish Ninjas™ pilot episode, that’s what!

For those of you not in the know, Trainwreck is the side project of Kyle Gass of Tenacious D fame. Along with Lee of the D, and a gaggle of uber talented mofos, they rock out with a southern rock flavor that causes women’s panties to melt off.

I was able to chat with the band after a recent show and was surprised to discover that they have a copy of the Scottish Ninjas™ pilot DVD that they take with them on the road.  If that’s not a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is!
